Clement King is a financial services executive and strategic advisor with more than 20 years of experience across leading global and international financial institutions.
Throughout his career, Clement has partnered with senior executives to drive business growth, lead complex transformations, improve performance, and strengthen risk management. His expertise spans business strategy, Chief Operating Office functions, risk and controls, AI, data, technology, and organizational change.
His approach is simple: Help businesses become simpler, better, and faster while delivering measurable results.
Executive Experience
Clement has held senior leadership positions at Scotiabank, HSBC, and Wells Fargo, with earlier experience at other leading financial services companies.
Most recently, as Managing Director and U.S. Head of Business Risk Management at Scotiabank, he led approximately 75 professionals overseeing key risk and control functions while supporting the bank's U.S. growth strategy and business priorities.
Previously, Clement served as Chief of Staff to the Deputy Chief Operating Officer at HSBC in London, supporting business strategy, executive decision-making, and enterprise-wide initiatives.
At Wells Fargo, he held a senior leadership role in Control Management, focused on business enablement, governance, and strategic execution. During his earlier tenure at HSBC, he served as U.S. Chief Control Officer and held leadership roles across digital banking and global balance sheet management.
Having lived and worked in New York, London, and Canada, Clement brings an international perspective and firsthand experience leading teams, managing complexity, and delivering change within global financial institutions.
